Responsibilities:
- Cost Planning & Estimation: Calculating material, labor, and time requirements to prepare accurate budget estimates.
- Tendering & Procurement: Preparing tender documents, bills of quantities, and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Cost Control: Monitoring project progress, evaluating variations, and managing costs to prevent overruns
- Contract Administration: Handling progress payments, valuing completed work, and preparing final accounts.
- Risk Mitigation: Assessing risks, conducting feasibility studies, and writing reports on project finances.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
- Knowledge of construction law, contracts, and regulations
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree
